Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which MDXTech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") offers refunds and handles subscription cancellations for the TrustCookie service.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a full refund for new subscribers within 30 days of their initial purchase.

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

1.1 Eligibility

If you are not satisfied with TrustCookie, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase.

Conditions:

  • ✓ Available only for first-time subscribers
  • ✓ Must be requested within 30 calendar days of your first payment
  • ✓ Applies only to monthly subscription fees (excludes any setup fees or add-ons, if applicable)
  • ✓ Not available for renewals or subsequent billing cycles

1.2 How to Request a Refund

Refund Request Process:

  1. 1. Email us at refunds@trustcookie.com
  2. 2. Include your account email address and order/transaction ID (from Stripe receipt)
  3. 3. Provide a brief reason for the refund (optional but helpful for us to improve)
  4. 4. We will process your request within 3-5 business days

1.3 Refund Processing

  • • Refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method
  • • Processing typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • • You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is issued
  • • Your account will be downgraded to a free tier or cancelled upon refund approval

2. No Refunds After 30 Days

Important: After the initial 30-day period, all subscription fees are non-refundable. This includes:

  • • Renewal payments for subsequent billing cycles
  • • Partial month refunds (we do not prorate subscriptions)
  • • Service downgrades mid-billing cycle

However, you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges (see Section 3).

3. Subscription Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Dashboard

  2. 2. Go to Account Settings
  3. 3. Click "Billing" or "Subscription"
  4. 4. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  5. 5. Confirm cancellation

Method 2: Email

  1. 1. Email support@trustcookie.com
  2. 2. Subject: "Cancel Subscription"
  3. 3. Include your account email
  4. 4. We'll confirm within 24-48 hours

3.2 When Does Cancellation Take Effect?

  • • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • • You will continue to have access to all features until the end of the paid period
  • • No charges will occur for the next billing cycle
  • • You will receive a confirmation email when cancellation is processed

Example:

If you subscribed on January 1st and cancel on January 15th:

  • • Your subscription will remain active until January 31st
  • • You can continue using all features until January 31st
  • • No charge will be made on February 1st
  • • Your account will be downgraded/deactivated on February 1st

3.3 No Partial Refunds for Cancellations

We do not provide prorated refunds when you cancel mid-billing cycle. If you cancel, you will not be charged for the next billing period, but you will not receive a refund for the current period.

If you previously cancelled your subscription, you can reactivate it at any time by:

5. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern or dispute, please contact us at billing@trustcookie.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company.

We are committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly. Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension and may affect your ability to use our services in the future.

5.1 Stripe Payment Processor

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. If you have concerns about payment security or transaction details, you can:

  • • Review Stripe's Privacy Policy
  • • Contact Stripe support for payment-related inquiries
  • • Access your transaction history through your Stripe receipt emails

6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

6.1 Service Downtime

In the rare event of extended service downtime or outages beyond our control, we may, at our sole discretion, offer:

  • • Service credit for the affected period
  • • Extended subscription period
  • • Partial refund consideration

6.2 Fraudulent Activity

If we detect fraudulent activity or abuse of our services, we reserve the right to:

  • • Immediately suspend or terminate your account
  • • Refuse refunds regardless of the 30-day guarantee
  • • Report fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities

6.3 Pricing Errors

In the unlikely event of a pricing error or technical malfunction affecting your payment:

  • • We will notify you promptly
  • • We will issue a refund for any overcharge
  • • We may request payment for any undercharge, or cancel the subscription at your option

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via:

  • • Email notification to your registered email address
  • • Prominent notice on our website and dashboard
  • • Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

Changes will not affect refunds requested before the effective date of the update.
